Most of us associate tour guide systems primarily with groups of tourists wandering through European city squares. However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Today’s voice transmission technology finds its application wherever traditional conversation fails.
We present three stories from our clients, for whom a „regular” tour guide set became the key to more efficient work, safe passion, and full participation in social life.
Passion and Recreation
Our client is a professional organizer of cycling expeditions. He was looking for a solution that would help him communicate effectively and, above all, safely with a stretched-out group of participating cyclists.
The Challenge: During a ride, the peloton naturally lengthens. Information about the route or interesting facts shared by the leader often failed to reach those at the back, and the rushing wind further muffled the voice.
Our Solution: We opted for the Okayo WaveTalk model. Key factors were its light weight, compact size, and long range, which allows contact with people even dozens of meters behind the guide.

The Result: The comfort of the expeditions reached a whole new level. Participants hear every word effortlessly, and the organizer can safely and calmly manage the group’s pace without taking their hands off the handlebars.

Manufacturing Industry
The second example comes from the industrial world. Our client is a thriving Polish plant producing healthy food and cereal cookies. In a hall full of loud machinery, free communication was a massive challenge.
The Challenge: The noise of operating equipment meant that relaying precise technical instructions required shouting. This was not only exhausting but also created a risk of costly and dangerous mistakes when setting machine parameters.
Our Solution: We chose the Linkx TG-201 system. This is a full-duplex solution that enables two-way communication. By using our wireless communication system, employees can speak to each other freely while keeping both hands free to operate the equipment.
The Result: The investment instantly raised safety and occupational hygiene standards. The system worked so well that the company also implemented it in its Dutch branch, unifying the communication system across the entire capital group.
Daily Life
Technology is also a tool for empathy. We helped an elderly person who, despite their desire, had difficulty actively participating in church services due to hearing problems.
The Challenge: The difficult acoustics of temples and high reverberation mean that even the best hearing aids cannot always catch the priest’s voice clearly.
Our Solution: We implemented a simple but effective Okayo WT-300D set. With the priest’s consent, the transmitter was placed directly at the altar, while the receiver and headphones stayed with our client.

The Result: The voice coming straight from the microphone goes directly to the ear, eliminating background noise and echo. As a result, the hearing barrier ceased to exist, and the client regained the full joy of participating in the liturgy.
The examples above prove that tour guide systems are universal tools for special tasks. Whether your goal is factory optimization, safely leading a field trip, or supporting those with hearing impairments – the key is matching the technology to the specific situation.
