We don’t think anybody has to be convinced any more how important efficient communication is in certain sports, both during professional training as well as when enjoying purely recreational activities. This is particularly important for sportspeople who are only learning the intricacies of the given sport and have to continuously listen to indications of their trainer or coach. The case is similar with horseback riding, when lessons often take place in groups, and distances between the coach and rider may be dozens of metres. Without the support of wireless intercoms efficient communication can be difficult – or downright impossible.
The solution presents itself in the form of the Okayo C200 – a one-way digital communication system that guarantees failure-safety, comfort and unique sound quality. We also offer several other intercom models (including in specially-prepared sets) for horse riding students:
- EQS-5 – unidirectional horseback riding training intercom system. In the EQS-5, communication always take place from the trainer (sender) to the rider (receiver). The effective range is 100 m in open terrain. One riding area or training hall may host up to a few sets with senders (using different channels) without interference.
- EQS-4 – bidirectional half-duplex intercom system. Allows for alternating communication between the trainer and the riders. The range of this model can be up to one kilometre or more. It will hence prove itself not only during training in a closed area, but also during preparations ahead of a show jumping event or when riding in the open.
- EQS-3 – full-duplex bidirectional intercom system with a range of up to 250 m. This model allows free and simultaneous communication of up to six persons at the same time. Every person can speak and listen in at the same time.
